About AcademicCalPro

AcademicCalPro is a free directory of academic-year and school-year calendar templates built for the people who actually plan schools: students keeping ahead of finals, teachers pacing units across a semester, and parents trying to book a flight that doesn't collide with state testing.

We publish templates organized the way schools think about time — by grade level, by term length, and by file format — instead of forcing you to dig through a dated archive of generic monthly calendars. Every template downloads as a real file. There are no email walls, no "free trials," and no upsells.

Who it's for

K-12 teachers planning their first week back. College students mapping a semester onto a wall above their desk. Homeschool parents structuring a 36-week year for the first time. Front-office administrators preparing the master calendar before back-to-school night. PTA volunteers assembling a printed family planner for fundraisers.

Editorial principles

  • Real dates over generic ones. We model US and UK academic-year patterns instead of inventing arbitrary terms.
  • Print and edit. Every template is published in PDF (for printing), Excel and Google Sheets (for tracking), and Word (for editing).
  • Free, with no friction. No login, no email, no watermark.

How the data is sourced

Calendar entries are generated from common US and UK academic-year structures with reference to public sources documented on our sources page. Where official datasets are reachable at build time, we cite them; otherwise we fall back to the documented structural patterns published by US Department of Education resources, UK Department for Education guidance, and the Wikipedia "Academic term" reference article.
